DISCUSSION OF THREE ISSUES AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF THE DUSHANBE CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Today, June 25 of the current year, a regular meeting of the Board of the Health Department of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe City was held in the conference hall of the State Institution “Dushanbe City Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance”.

The meeting was attended by Khushvakht Sharifzoda, Head of the Health Department of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe City, responsible officials of the Health Department, heads of subordinate healthcare and preventive institutions, deputy directors for medical affairs, chief accountants of subordinate healthcare institutions, staff of the City Narcological Center, responsible personnel of narcological offices, and leading sectoral specialists of the Health Department.

During the meeting, three issues were discussed. On the first issue, entitled “Implementation and Progress of the Strategy for the Protection of Public Health of the Republic of Tajikistan up to 2030 in Dushanbe City,” a presentation was delivered by S.H. Murodzoda, Head of the Adult Medical Services Department of the Health Department.

On the second issue, “Implementation of the Government Resolution of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 600 dated December 2, 2008, ‘On the Procedure for Medical and Sanitary Services for Citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in State Healthcare Institutions,’ Resolution No. 336 dated July 27, 2016, ‘On Conducting Mandatory Preliminary and Periodic Medical Examinations,’ and Presidential Decree No. 586 dated June 22, 2023, ‘On Measures to Expand Cashless Payments’ in Healthcare Institutions of Dushanbe City,” a report was presented by T. Zaydulloeva, Leading Specialist for Planning and Finance.

On the third issue, “Implementation of the National Strategy for Drug Control in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021–2030 in Dushanbe City,” a presentation was made by A.A. Nazarzoda, Director of the State Institution “City Narcological Center”.

At the conclusion of the meeting, in order to further improve healthcare services for the population and address existing challenges and shortcomings in the sector, Khushvakht Sharifzoda issued specific instructions and recommendations to the heads of subordinate healthcare institutions and other responsible officials.
