Congratulatory Address by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, on the Occasion of National Unity Day

Dear residents of our beloved capital!

With a profound sense of national pride, I sincerely congratulate all of you on the occasion of National Unity Day, celebrated throughout the country on June 27.

This important historic date symbolizes unity, solidarity, mutual understanding, and the great responsibility of citizens in preserving and strengthening our national statehood.

It is especially important to emphasize that the signing of the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord, the achievement of peace and stability, and the realization of national unity became possible through the constructive efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, together with the wholehearted support of the proud people of the country.

These very values have created a solid foundation for strengthening statehood, safeguarding national interests, and implementing the country's strategic objectives, guiding Tajikistan toward sustainable development and continued progress.

In the face of rapidly changing global developments, preserving an atmosphere of trust, strengthening stability, and respecting the values of statehood have become increasingly important. National unity serves as a driving force for constructive initiatives, stronger civic responsibility, and the development of national consciousness.

It is our shared responsibility to contribute through honest work, a strong sense of civic duty, and respect for national interests to the prosperity of our Motherland and the well-being of our people.

On this joyous occasion, I wish every Tajik family and our compatriots living abroad peace, good health, prosperity, and abundant blessings. I also wish our beloved Tajikistan lasting peace, sustainable development, and a bright future.
